Walter E. "Jack" Rollins was an American songwriter born on September 15, 1906, in Scottdale, Georgia. He is best known for his work as a songwriter, with his most famous composition being the classic Christmas song "Frosty the Snowman," which he co-wrote with Steve Nelson. Rollins had a long career as a songwriter, penning hits such as "Sippin' Soda" and "Slow Poke" in the 1940s and '50s. He passed away on January 1, 1973, in Sarasota, Florida.
